Abdullah bin Abbas reported,
The Prophet ﷺ was given the seven oft-repeated verses, namely the seven long surahs.

[Its chain of transmission is daif] Abu Dawud narrated it, in the Book of Prayer, chapter on those who said it is from the long surahs, hadith no. 1459, from the hadith of Jareer bin Abdul-Hameed, through this same chain. It is also found in Al-Kubra, hadith no. 987.
