He called for water for ablution, then rinsed his mouth and drew water into his nose, blowing it out with his left hand. He did this three times, then said, "This is the manner of purification of the Prophet of Allah ﷺ."
أخبرنا موسى بن عبد الرحمن قال حدثنا حسين بن علي عن زائدة قال حدثنا خالد بن علقمة عن عبد خير
أنه دعا بوضوء فتمضمض واستنشق ونثر بيده اليسرى ففعل هذا ثلاثا ثم قال هذا طهور نبي الله ﷺ

Its isnad is sahih. Abu Dawud narrated it in the Book of Purification, Chapter on the Description of the Prophet's Wudu, hadith (112), from the hadith of Husayn bin Ali through the same route, and Ibn Hibban graded it sahih. It is also found in al-Kubra, hadith (94). See the following hadith.
