The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When dinner is served and the prayer is called, begin with dinner."
أخبرنا محمد بن منصور قال حدثنا سفيان عن الزهري
قال رسول الله ﷺ إذا حضر العشاء وأقيمت الصلاة فابدءوا بالعشاء
Muslim narrated it in the Book of Mosques, chapter on the dislike of praying in the presence of food that one wants to eat, etc., hadith no. 557, from the hadith of Sufyan bin Uyayna, with this chain. It is also in Kubra, hadith no. 926, similarly.
