The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to straighten our shoulders during the prayer and say, "Do not differ among yourselves, lest your hearts differ. Let those of maturity and understanding stand closest to me, then those who follow them, then those who follow them."Abu Masud said, "And you today differ far more."Abu Abdul-Rahman said, "Abu Muamar's name is Abdullah bin Sakhbara."
أخبرنا هناد بن السري عن أبي معاوية عن الأعمش عن عمارة بن عمير عن أبي معمر
كان رسول الله ﷺ يمسح مناكبنا في الصلاة ويقول لا تختلفوا فتختلف قلوبكم ليليني منكم أولو الأحلام والنهى ثم الذين يلونهم ثم الذين يلونهم قال أبو مسعود فأنتم اليوم أشد اختلافا قال أبو عبد الرحمن أبو معمر اسمه عبد الله بن سخبرة
Muslim reported it in the Book of Prayer, chapter on straightening and establishing the rows, etc., hadith no. 432, from the hadith of Abu Muawiya Muhammad bin Khazim, with the same chain, and it is also in al-Kubra, hadith no. 881.
