I was in front of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while he was praying. Whenever I wanted to get up, I disliked passing in front of him, so I would slip away quietly.
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Prayer, Chapter on Praying Facing a Bed, Hadith 508, and Muslim in the Book of Prayer, Chapter on Someone Passing in Front of a Person Praying, Hadith 271/512, from the hadith of Mansur bin Mutamir through this same chain. It is also found in Sunan al-Kubra, Hadith 831. Khalid here is Ibn Harith.
