I would gnaw on a bone with meat still on it, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would place his mouth where I had placed mine, even while I was menstruating. I would also drink from a vessel, and he would place his mouth where I had placed mine, even while I was menstruating.
أخبرنا عمرو بن علي قال حدثنا عبد الرحمن عن سفيان عن المقدام بن شريح عن أبيه
كنت أتعرق العرق فيضع رسول الله ﷺ فاه حيث وضعت وأنا حائض وكنت أشرب من الإناء فيضع فاه حيث وضعت وأنا حائض
[Its isnad is sahih]. Muslim narrated it in the book of Menstruation, chapter "The Permissibility of a Menstruating Woman Washing Her Husband's Head," etc., hadith (300), from the hadith of Sufyan Thawri, through him. It is also in Al-Kubra, hadith (62).
