The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whatever intoxicates in large amounts, even a small amount of it is forbidden."
أخبرنا عبيد الله بن سعيد قال حدثنا يحيى يعني ابن سعيد عن عبيد الله قال
عن النبي ﷺ قال ما أسكر كثيره فقليله حرام
[Its chain of transmission is hasan] Ibn Majah narrated it in the Book of Drinks, chapter on "That whose large amount intoxicates, its small amount is forbidden," hadith no. 3394, from the hadith of Ubaydullah bin Umar with this wording, and it is also in al-Kubra, hadith no. 117.
