The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade us from combining two ingredients to make nabidh, where one would overpower the other.He said, I asked him about fadikh, and he forbade me from it.He said, He used to dislike using unripe dates that had begun to ripen at the tip, fearing that they would constitute two different things, so we would cut off the ripening portion.
أخبرنا سويد بن نصر قال أنبأنا عبد الله عن وقاء بن إياس عن المختار بن فلفل
نهى رسول الله ﷺ أن نجمع شيئين نبيذا يبغي أحدهما على صاحبه قال وسألته عن الفضيخ فنهاني عنه قال كان يكره المذنب من البسر مخافة أن يكونا شيئين فكنا نقطعه
