The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade soaking raisins and unripe dates together to make nabidh, and he forbade soaking unripe dates and ripe dates together to make nabidh.
أخبرنا قتيبة قال حدثنا الليث عن أبي الزبير
عن رسول الله ﷺ أنه نهى أن ينبذ الزبيب والبسر جميعا ونهى أن ينبذ البسر والرطب جميعا
Muslim narrated it in the Book of Drinks, Chapter on the Disapproval of Mixing Dates and Raisins for Nabidh, no. 19/1986, from Qutayba with this same chain, and it is also in Kubra, no. 5071.
