The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Pray the dawn prayer when the light has spread, for that brings a greater reward."
أخبرني إبراهيم بن يعقوب قال حدثنا ابن أبي مريم قال أخبرنا أبو غسان قال حدثني زيد بن أسلم عن عاصم بن عمر بن قتادة عن محمود بن لبيد

[Its chain of transmission is sahih] Tabarani reported it in Al-Kabir, 4/251, no. 4294, from the hadith of Ibn Abu Maryam, from Abu Ghassan Muhammad bin Mutarrif, by this same chain. It is also found in Al-Kubra, no. 1531. This hadith is abrogated, as mentioned in the previous hadith.
