The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed the dawn prayer on the day of Khaybar in the darkness before daybreak, while he was close to them. Then he launched his attack on them and said, "Allah is the Greatest! Khaybar is destroyed!" He said it twice. "When we descend upon a people's territory, evil is the morning of those who were warned."
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of the Prayer of Fear, chapter on praying the dawn prayer early while it is still dark, through the hadith of Hammad bin Zayd, and it is also in Al-Kubra, hadith no. 1529.
