The Prophet of Allah ﷺ used to say, "O Allah, I seek refuge in You from incapacity, laziness, miserliness, decrepit old age, the punishment of the grave, and the trials of life and death."
أخبرنا محمد بن المثنى عن معاذ بن هشام قال حدثنا أبي عن قتادة
أن نبي الله ﷺ كان يقول اللهم إني أعوذ بك من العجز والكسل والبخل والهرم وعذاب القبر وفتنة المحيا والممات
Ahmad narrated it: 3/208, 214, 231, from the hadith of Hisham Dastawai with this chain, and it is in Kubra, no. 7881, and Bukhari, no. 2823, 6367, from the hadith of Sulayman Taymi from Anas with this chain, and the hadith has other routes of transmission.
