The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever seizes the right of a Muslim man through a false oath, Allah has made the Fire obligatory for him and has forbidden him Paradise."A man said to him, "Even if it is something trivial, Messenger of Allah?"He replied, "Even if it is a twig from an arak tree."
أخبرنا علي بن حجر قال حدثنا إسمعيل قال حدثنا العلاء عن معبد بن كعب عن أخيه عبد الله بن كعب
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال من اقتطع حق امرئ مسلم بيمينه فقد أوجب الله له النار وحرم عليه الجنة فقال له رجل وإن كان شيئا يسيرا يا رسول الله قال وإن كان قضيبا من أراك
Muslim narrated it in the Book of Faith, chapter on the warning against the one who seizes a Muslim's right through a false oath, being punished with the Fire, hadith no. 137, from Ali bin Hajar with this chain. It is also found in Al-Kubra, hadith no. 5980.Ismail is Ibn Jafar, and Ala is Ibn Abdul-Rahman bin Yaqub.
