The Messenger of Allah ﷺ delayed the night prayer one evening, and Umar called out to him, "The women and children have fallen asleep."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out and said, "No one is waiting for this prayer except you." At that time, the prayer was performed only in Madinah. Then he said, "Pray it between the disappearance of the twilight and the first third of the night."The wording is that of Ibn Humayr.
