Ibrahim bin Jareer reported,
I was with the Prophet ﷺ when he went to relieve himself. After he had finished, he said, "Jareer, bring me something to purify myself with."I brought him water, and he cleansed himself with it, then he rubbed his hand against the ground.Abu Abdul-Rahman said, "This is closer to what is correct than the report of Sharik, and Allah 
knows best."

Sahihأخبرنا أحمد بن الصباح قال حدثنا شعيب يعني ابن حرب قال حدثنا أبان بن عبد الله البجلي قال
حدثنا إبراهيم بن جرير عن أبيه قال
كنت مع النبي ﷺ فأتى الخلاء فقضى الحاجة ثم قال يا جرير هات طهورا فأتيته بالماء فاستنجى بالماء وقال بيده فدلك بها الأرض قال أبو عبد الرحمن هذا أشبه بالصواب من حديث شريك والله سبحانه وتعالى أعلم
Sahih. Ibn Majah also narrated it in Kitab al-Taharah, Bab man dalaka yadahu bil-ard baada al-istinja, (359), from the hadith of Aban through the same route.Ibrahim is truthful, but he did not hear from his father. The hadith has many corroborating narrations, including the previous hadith.
