The Prophet ﷺ performed ablution, and when he cleansed himself after relieving himself, he rubbed his hand on the ground.
أخبرنا محمد بن عبد الله بن المبارك المخرمي قال حدثنا وكيع عن شريك عن إبراهيم بن جرير عن أبي زرعة
أن النبي ﷺ توضأ فلما استنجى دلك يده بالأرض
Its isnad is hasan. Abu Dawud, no. (45), and Ibn Majah, no. (358), also narrated it from the hadith of Waki, in this manner. It is found in Kubra, no. (48).* Sharik the judge stated explicitly that he heard it directly, as recorded by Ibn Hibban (Mawarid 138).
