The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to lead us in the Asr prayer while the sun was still bright and high in the sky.
أخبرنا إسحق بن إبراهيم قال حدثنا جرير عن منصور عن ربعي بن حراش عن أبي الأبيض
كان رسول الله ﷺ يصلي بنا العصر والشمس بيضاء محلقة
[Its chain of transmission is sahih] Ahmad reported it: 3/131, 169, 232, 184, from the hadith of Mansur bin Mutamir, by this route.
