Ayesha reported,

The Prophet ﷺ came to visit her while a woman was with her. He asked, "Who is this?"She replied, "So-and-so. She does not sleep, due to how much she prays."He said, "Stop. Take on only as much worship as you can sustain. By Allah, Allah does not tire until you tire." The dearest form of religious practice to him was what a person could maintain consistently.

أن النبي ﷺ دخل عليها وعندها امرأة فقال من هذه قالت فلانة لا تنام تذكر من صلاتها فقال مه عليكم من العمل ما تطيقون فوالله لا يمل الله عز وجل حتى تملوا وكان أحب الدين إليه ما دام عليه صاحبه
