I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "The Muslim is the one from whose tongue and hand other Muslims are safe, and the emigrant is the one who abandons what Allah has forbidden."
أخبرنا عمرو بن علي قال حدثنا يحيى عن إسمعيل عن عامر
سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول المسلم من سلم المسلمون من لسانه ويده والمهاجر من هجر ما نهى الله عنه
Bukhari narrated it in the book of Iman, chapter "The Muslim is one from whose tongue and hand other Muslims are safe," hadith no. 10, from the hadith of Ismail bin Abu Khalid, with the same chain. Amir is Shaybi, and Abdullah is Ibn Amr bin As.
