The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The Muslim is the one from whose tongue and hand people are safe, and the believer is the one whom people trust with their lives and their wealth."
أخبرنا قتيبة قال حدثنا الليث عن ابن عجلان عن القعقاع بن حكيم عن أبي صالح
عن رسول الله ﷺ قال المسلم من سلم الناس من لسانه ويده والمؤمن من أمنه الناس على دمائهم وأموالهم
[Sahih] Reported by Tirmidhi, in the Book of Faith, chapter on what has been said regarding the fact that the Muslim is the one from whose tongue and hand the Muslims are safe, hadith no. 2627, from Qutayba, with the same wording, and he said, hasan sahih, and the hadith has many corroborating narrations.
