Whenever the Prophet ﷺ stopped at a place to camp, he would not depart from it until he had prayed Dhuhr.A man asked, "Even if it was at midday?"He replied, "Even if it was at midday."
أخبرنا عبيد الله بن سعيد حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد عن شعبة قال حدثني حمزة العائذي قال سمعت
كان النبي ﷺ إذا نزل منزلا لم يرتحل منه حتى يصلي الظهر فقال رجل وإن كانت بنصف النهار قال وإن كانت بنصف النهار
[Its chain of transmission is sahih]. Abu Dawud narrated it in "Prayer, chapter on the traveler who prays while uncertain about the time," hadith no. 1205, from the hadith of Yahya bin Saeed Qattan through this route, and it is also found in Al-Kubra, hadith no. 1485.
