Sayar bin Salaama reported,

I heard my father asking Abu Barzah about the prayer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.I said, "Did you hear this from him yourself?"He replied, "Just as I hear you now."So my father asked him about the prayer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he said, "He did not mind delaying it somewhat, meaning the night prayer, until midnight, and he disliked sleeping before it or conversing after it."Shuba said, "Then I met him again later and asked him, and he said, 'He used to pray Dhuhr when the sun had passed its zenith, and Asr at such a time that a man could go to the farthest part of Madinah while the sun was still bright. As for Maghrib, I do not recall which time he mentioned.'"Then I met him once more and asked him, and he said, "He used to pray the dawn prayer, after which a man would leave and be able to look at the face of the person sitting beside him whom he knew and recognize him." He added, "And he used to recite in it between sixty and a hundred verses."

أخبرنا محمد بن عبد الأعلى قال حدثنا خالد قال حدثنا شعبة قال

حدثنا سيار بن سلامة قال

سمعت أبي يسأل أبا برزة عن صلاة رسول الله ﷺ قلت أنت سمعته قال كما أسمعك الساعة فقال أبي يسأل عن صلاة رسول الله ﷺ قال كان لا يبالي بعض تأخيرها يعني العشاء إلى نصف الليل ولا يحب النوم قبلها ولا الحديث بعدها قال شعبة ثم لقيته بعد فسألته قال كان يصلي الظهر حين تزول الشمس والعصر يذهب الرجل إلى أقصى المدينة والشمس حية والمغرب لا أدري أي حين ذكر ثم لقيته بعد فسألته فقال وكان يصلي الصبح فينصرف الرجل فينظر إلى وجه جليسه الذي يعرفه فيعرفه قال وكان يقرأ فيها بالستين إلى المائة
