When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ conquered Mecca, he said in his sermon, "For wounds that expose the bone, the compensation is five camels each."

لما افتتح رسول الله ﷺ مكة قال في خطبته وفي المواضح خمس خمس
[Its chain of transmission is hasan] Reported by Abu Dawud, Diyat, Chapter on Diyat for Limbs, no. 4566, from the hadith of Khalid bin Harith, in abridged form. It is also in al-Kubra, no. 7057. Ibn Jarud graded it sahih, no. 785, and Tirmidhi, no. 1390, said it is hasan sahih.
