Abdullah bin Abbas reported,

There were two women who were neighbors, and a quarrel arose between them. One of them threw a stone at the other, causing her to miscarry a male child whose hair had already grown, and the woman herself also died. The Prophet ﷺ ruled that the blood-money was due upon the killer's paternal male relatives. The uncle of the deceased woman said, "Messenger of Allah, she miscarried a boy whose hair had grown."The father of the killer replied, "He is lying. By Allah, the child never cried out, never drank, and never ate. The blood of such a one should go unavenged."The Prophet ﷺ said, "Is this rhymed prose like the rhymed prose of the days of ignorance and its soothsaying? For the unborn child a slave, male or female, is due."Ibn Abbas said, "One of the women was Mulaykah and the other was Umm Ghatif."
