The Prophet of Allah ﷺ ruled regarding the mukatab that his blood-money is to be paid in proportion to the share of him that has been freed, based on the blood-money of a free person.
أخبرنا محمد بن عبيد الله بن يزيد قال حدثنا عثمان بن عبد الرحمن الطائفي قال حدثنا معاوية عن يحيى بن أبي كثير عن عكرمة
أن نبي الله ﷺ قضى في المكاتب أن يودى بقدر ما عتق منه دية الحر
