The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The blood-money for a disbeliever is half the blood-money of a believer."
أخبرنا أحمد بن عمرو بن السرح قال أنبأنا ابن وهب قال أخبرني أسامة بن زيد عن عمرو بن شعيب عن أبيه
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال عقل الكافر نصف عقل المؤمن
[Its chain of transmission is hasan] Tirmidhi narrated it in the chapter on blood money, in the section on what has been said regarding the blood money of disbelievers, hadith no. 1413, from the hadith of Abdullah bin Wahb, through this route, and he said, this is a hasan hadith. It is also found in Sunan al-Kubra, hadith no. 7010.
