On the day of the conquest of Mecca, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood on a step of the Kaabah, praised Allah and glorified Him, and said, "Praise be to Allah who fulfilled His promise, granted victory to His servant, and alone defeated the confederates. Indeed, one killed by mistake resembling intentional killing, by a whip or a stick, the blood-money for him is one hundred camels of the heavier kind, forty of which must be pregnant females carrying their young."
[Its chain of transmission is daif] Abu Dawud narrated it in the Book of Blood Money, chapter on the blood money for accidental killing resembling intentional killing, hadith no. 4549, from the hadith of Sufyan bin Uyayna, transmitted through him, and it is found in al-Kubra, hadith no. 7002.
