While the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was distributing something, a man leaned in close over him, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ poked him with a palm-branch he was holding, and the man cried out.The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him, "Come and take retaliation."The man replied, "Rather, I pardon you, Messenger of Allah."

بينا رسول الله ﷺ يقسم شيئا إذ أكب عليه رجل فطعنه رسول الله ﷺ بعرجون كان معه فصاح الرجل فقال له رسول الله ﷺ تعال فاستقد قال بل عفوت يا رسول الله
