A man from the tribe of Banu Tamim was fighting another man, and when the other bit his hand, he pulled it away, knocking out the biter's front tooth. They brought their dispute before the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, who said, "Does one of you bite his brother the way a young camel bites?" He then declared the tooth to be of no compensation, meaning he ruled the claim void.
أخبرنا محمد بن عبد الله بن عبيد بن عقيل قال حدثنا جدي قال حدثنا شعبة عن الحكم عن مجاهد
أن رجلا من بني تميم قاتل رجلا فعض يده فانتزعها فألقى ثنيته فاختصما إلى رسول الله ﷺ فقال يعض أحدكم أخاه كما يعض البكر فأطلها أي أبطلها
