The Prophet ﷺ said, "When one of you has his debt transferred to a solvent person, let him accept it. Injustice is the delay in payment by one who is able to pay."
أخبرنا قتيبة بن سعيد قال حدثنا سفيان عن أبي الزناد عن الأعرج
عن النبي ﷺ قال إذا أتبع أحدكم على مليء فليتبع والظلم مطل الغني
Bukhari narrated it, Chapter on Transfers of Debt, "If the debt of a deceased person is transferred to a man..." etc., no. 2288, from the hadith of Sufyan bin Uyayna, with this wording, and it is also in al-Kubra, no. 6287.
