The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade taking the price of a dog and the stud fee for a male animal's mating.
أخبرنا واصل بن عبد الأعلى قال حدثنا ابن فضيل عن الأعمش عن أبي حازم
نهى رسول الله ﷺ عن ثمن الكلب وعسب الفحل
[Sahih] Ibn Majah narrated it in the Book of Trade, chapter on the prohibition of the price of a dog and the earnings of a prostitute etc., no. 2160, from the hadith of Muhammad bin Fudayl bin Ghazwan, with the same wording, and it is in Al-Kubra, no. 6271, and this hadith has very many corroborating narrations.
