The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade muhaqalah, muzabanah, mukhabarah, muawamah, and thunya, but granted a concession for araya transactions.
أخبرنا علي بن حجر قال حدثنا إسمعيل بن إبراهيم عن أيوب و أخبرنا زياد بن أيوب قال حدثنا ابن علية قال أنبأنا أيوب عن أبي الزبير
نهى رسول الله ﷺ عن المحاقلة والمزابنة والمخابرة والمعاومة والثنيا ورخص في العرايا
Muslim narrated it in the Book of Sales, Chapter on the Prohibition of Muhaqalah and Muzabanah and Mukhabarah, etc., hadith no. 85/1536, from Ali bin Hajar with this wording, and it is also in Sunan al-Kubra, hadith no. 6230.
