The Prophet ﷺ said, "Swearing oaths makes merchandise sell quickly but wipes out the blessing of profit."
أخبرنا أحمد بن عمرو بن السرح قال حدثنا ابن وهب عن يونس عن ابن شهاب عن سعيد بن المسيب
عن النبي ﷺ قال الحلف منفقة للسلعة ممحقة للكسب
Muslim narrated it, no. 1606 (see the previous hadith from Ahmad bin Amr bin Sarh), and Bukhari, Sales, chapter, "Allah destroys riba and causes charity to grow... etc.," no. 2087, from the hadith of Yunus bin Yazid, with the same wording. It is also in Sunan al-Kubra, no. 6052.
