He informed him that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited eating the meat of sacrificial animals after three days, then later said, "Eat, take provisions, and store it."
أخبرنا محمد بن سلمة والحارث بن مسكين قراءة عليه وأنا أسمع واللفظ له عن ابن القاسم قال حدثني مالك عن أبي الزبير
أنه أخبره أن رسول الله ﷺ نهى عن أكل لحوم الضحايا بعد ثلاث ثم قال كلوا وتزودوا وادخروا
Muslim narrated it in the Book of Sacrifices, chapter on the statement regarding the prohibition of eating sacrificial meat after [a certain period], etc., hadith no. 1972, from the hadith of Malik, through him. It is also in Al-Kubra, hadith no. 4515, and in Muwatta (Yahya): 2/484.
