Each of them mentioned something the other did not. He said, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood on the day of Adha and said, "Whoever faces our qiblah, prays our prayer, and performs our rites of sacrifice must not slaughter until he has prayed."My maternal uncle stood up and said, "Messenger of Allah, I hastened my sacrifice in order to feed my household and the people of my home," or he said, "my household and my neighbors."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Repeat the slaughter with another animal."He said, "I have a young milking goat that is dearer to me than two sheep meant for meat."He said, "Slaughter it, for it is the better of your two sacrifices, but a young goat will not suffice for anyone after you."
أخبرنا هناد بن السري عن ابن أبي زائدة قال أنبأنا أبي عن فراس عن عامر عن البراء بن عازب ح وأنبأنا داود بن أبي هند عن الشعبي
أحدهما ما لم يذكر الآخر قال قام رسول الله ﷺ يوم الأضحى فقال من وجه قبلتنا وصلى صلاتنا ونسك نسكنا فلا يذبح حتى يصلي فقام خالي فقال يا رسول الله إني عجلت نسكي لأطعم أهلي وأهل داري أو أهلي وجيراني فقال رسول الله ﷺ أعد ذبحا آخر قال فإن عندي عناق لبن هي أحب إلي من شاتي لحم قال اذبحها فإنها خير نسيكتيك ولا تقضي جذعة عن أحد بعدك
