Then he, meaning the Prophet ﷺ on the Day of Sacrifice, turned to two horned rams with white and black coloring and slaughtered them, and to a flock of young sheep which he distributed among us.
أخبرنا حميد بن مسعدة في حديثه عن يزيد بن زريع عن ابن عون عن محمد
ثم انصرف كأنه يعني النبي ﷺ يوم النحر إلى كبشين أملحين فذبحهما وإلى جذيعة من الغنم فقسمها بيننا
Muslim narrated it in the chapter, "The Emphasis on the Prohibition of Bloodshed, Honor, and Wealth," in the Book of Qasamah, hadith no. 1679/30, from the hadith of Yazid bin Zuray, through this same chain. It is also found in Kubra, hadith no. 4479.
