The Prophet of Allah ﷺ forbade, on the day of Khaybar, the eating of every bird with talons and every wild animal with fangs.
[Its chain is daif]. Abu Dawud narrated it in the Book of Foods, chapter on what has been said about eating predatory animals, no. 3805, from the hadith of Saeed bin Abu Aruba, with this wording. It is also found in Kubra, no. 4861, and the hadith of Muslim, no. 1934, serves as a sufficient substitute for it.
