The Prophet ﷺ forbade eating any predatory animal that has fangs.
أخبرنا إسحق بن منصور ومحمد بن المثنى عن سفيان عن الزهري عن أبي إدريس
أن النبي ﷺ نهى عن أكل كل ذي ناب من السباع
Reported by Bukhari, in the Book of Medicine, chapter on the milk of she-donkeys, hadith no. 5780, and Muslim, in the Book of Hunting and Slaughtered Animals, chapter on the prohibition of eating every fanged predator, etc., hadith no. 1932, from the hadith of Sufyan bin Uyayna with this chain, and it is in al-Kubra, hadith no. 4837.
