The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade the price of a dog, the earnings of a prostitute, and the fee paid to a fortune-teller.
أخبرنا قتيبة قال حدثنا الليث عن ابن شهاب عن أبي بكر بن عبد الرحمن بن الحارث بن هشام أنه سمع
نهى رسول الله ﷺ عن ثمن الكلب ومهر البغي وحلوان الكاهن
Bukhari transmitted it in Sales, chapter on the price of a dog, hadith no. 2237, and Muslim in Musaqah, chapter on the prohibition of the price of a dog and the soothsayer's fee, etc., hadith no. 1567, from the hadith of Ibn Shihab Zuhri, through the same chain, and it is in Kubra, hadith no. 4803.
