A mouse fell into some clarified butter and died. The Prophet ﷺ was asked about it, and he said, "Throw it away along with what is around it, and eat the rest."
أخبرنا قتيبة قال حدثنا سفيان عن الزهري عن عبيد الله بن عبد الله عن ابن عباس
أن فأرة وقعت في سمن فماتت فسئل النبي ﷺ فقال ألقوها وما حولها وكلوه
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Sacrifices and Hunting, chapter, "If a mouse falls into solid or melted fat," Hadith: 5538, from the hadith of Sufyan bin Uyayna with this chain, and it is also in al-Kubra, Hadith: 4584.
