[Hasan] Reported by Abu Dawud, no. 4131 (see the previous hadith) from Amr bin Uthman bin Saeed Himsi, with the same wording. It is also in Kubra, no. 4580, and the hadith has corroborating narrations.Buhayr is Ibn Saad, and Baqiyyah explicitly stated that he heard it directly from his teacher. This prohibition of gold and silk applies to men only, not to women.
