The Prophet ﷺ forbade the use of the skins of predatory animals.

[Hasan] Reported by Abu Dawud, Clothing, chapter on the hides of leopards and predatory animals, no. 4132, from the hadith of Yahya Qattan through this route, and it is also in Kubra, no. 4579. Ibn Jarud graded it sahih, no. 875, as did Hakim (1/148) and Dhahabi. It has a hasan corroborating narration in Bayhaqi (1/21).
