We came as a delegation to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. My companions entered before me and he attended to their needs. I was the last of them to enter, and he asked, "What is your need?"I said, "Messenger of Allah, when will hijrah come to an end?"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, "Hijrah will not come to an end so long as the disbelievers are being fought."
أخبرنا محمود بن خالد قال حدثنا مروان بن محمد قال حدثنا عبد الله بن العلاء بن زبر قال حدثني بسر بن عبيد الله عن أبي إدريس الخولاني عن حسان بن عبد الله الضمري
وفدنا على رسول الله ﷺ فدخل أصحابي فقضى حاجتهم وكنت آخرهم دخولا فقال حاجتك فقلت يا رسول الله متى تنقطع الهجرة قال رسول الله ﷺ لا تنقطع الهجرة ما قوتل الكفار

Its chain of transmission is sahih. See the previous hadith. Tahawi also related it in Mushkil al-Athar, 3/257, from the hadith of Ibn Zabr through the same route, and it is found in al-Kubra, hadith no. 7796.
