The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to me, "Call the people to listen attentively." Then he said, "Do not let me find you, after what I have seen, reverting to disbelief after me, striking the necks of one another."
أخبرنا أبو عبيدة بن أبي السفر قال حدثنا عبد الله بن نمير قال حدثنا إسمعيل عن قيس قال بلغني أن
قال لي رسول الله ﷺ استنصت الناس ثم قال لا ألفينكم بعد ما أرى ترجعون بعدي كفارا يضرب بعضكم رقاب بعض
[Sahih] Ahmad narrated it: 4/366, from Abdullah bin Numayr through this route. It is also found in Kubra, no. 3597, and the preceding hadith serves as a corroborating witness for it.
