A group of people from the tribe of Urayna came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and they found the climate of Madinah uncongenial. The Prophet ﷺ said to them, "Why don't you go out to our herd of camels and drink some of their milk?" Qatada added, "And their urine."So they went out to the herd of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. When they recovered their health, they renounced Islam after having embraced it, killed the believing shepherd of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, drove off the herd of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and went off as enemies waging war.The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent men in pursuit of them, and they were captured. He had their hands and feet cut off, and their eyes branded with hot nails.
أخبرنا محمد بن المثنى قال حدثنا خالد قال حدثنا حميد
قدم ناس من عرينة على رسول الله ﷺ فاجتووا المدينة فقال لهم النبي ﷺ لو خرجتم إلى ذودنا فشربتم من ألبانها قال وقال قتادة وأبوالها فخرجوا إلى ذود رسول الله ﷺ فلما صحوا كفروا بعد إسلامهم وقتلوا راعي رسول الله ﷺ مؤمنا واستاقوا ذود رسول الله ﷺ وانطلقوا محاربين فأرسل في طلبهم فأخذوا فقطع أيديهم وأرجلهم وسمر أعينهم
