regarding it, by a prohibition from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. So he went to him, and I was with him, and he asked him. He replied, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to forbid leasing out farmland."So Ibn Umar abandoned the practice afterward, and whenever he was asked about it, he would say, "Rafi bin Khadij claims that the Prophet ﷺ forbade it."Ubaydullah bin Umar, Kathir bin Farqad, and Juwayriyah bin Asma agreed with him on this.
