The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "A vow neither hastens anything nor delays it. It is merely a means by which something is extracted from the miser."
أخبرنا عمرو بن علي قال حدثنا يحيى قال حدثنا سفيان عن منصور عن عبد الله بن مرة
قال رسول الله ﷺ النذر لا يقدم شيئا ولا يؤخره إنما هو شيء يستخرج به من الشحيح
