He witnessed the Messenger of Allah ﷺ addressing the people while seated on his mount, which was chewing its cud with its saliva flowing down. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said in his sermon, "Allah has assigned to every person his share of the inheritance, so a bequest in favor of an heir is not permitted."
