The Messenger of Allah ﷺ visited me during an illness and asked, "Have you made your will?"I replied, "Yes."He asked, "How much have you bequeathed?"I said, "All my wealth in the cause of Allah."He asked, "What have you left for your children?"I answered, "They are well off."He said, "Bequeath only a tenth."He kept lowering and I kept insisting, until he said, "Bequeath a third, and a third is plenty," or "a third is a lot."
