Her husband had gone out searching for some runaway slaves of his and was killed at the edge of al-Qadum. She said, "I came to the Prophet ﷺ and mentioned to him my wish to move back to my own family, and described to him something of my situation."She continued, "He granted me permission. But as I was leaving, he called out to me and said, 'Remain with your family until the prescribed term has been completed.'"
